INQUIRIES ABOUT THE SKI SCHOOL?
The best way is email! Send your inquiry to info@serenahiihtokoulu.com, we will try to answer during the same evening, the next day at the latest. Please note that the Serena Ski School is managed by a different company than the ski center, so please always send a message directly to the ski school
HOW TO BOOK A SKI SCHOOL LESSON?
ONLINE booking is the easiest way to book a ski school – you can immediately see the available courses and times.
Please always book your class in advance, no later than 48 hours before! To book a ski school lesson or course, we need the following information:
- date and type of class/course, participant’s name and mobile phone number, age of the child under 18 and guardian’s mobile phone number.
- if you want an equipment package, then shoe number, own height (for ski/board length) weight (for proper adjustment of ski bindings)

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF A SKI SCHOOL LESSON/COURSE?
The price includes lessons in skiing, cross-country skiing, telemark skiing or snowboarding. The length of one ski school lesson is 50 minutes. The two-hour course is 2 x 50 min. Use of the ski lifts is always included in the price during ski school lessons, a separate ski lift ticket is not needed then. In connection with the equipment rental package, the equipment rental is also included in the price for the duration of the ski school, for the excess time there will be a separate payment to the equipment rental company.
HOW TO ACT WHEN YOU ARRIVE IN SERENA?
When you arrive at Serena, first come and register at the ski school counter. Our customer service counter is located in the equipment rental shop. If your lesson/course starts as soon as the center opens, arrive 15 minutes before opening. Otherwise, please arrive at least half an hour before the start of the course/class, so you will receive the equipment and instructions well in advance of the actual lesson, and the lesson time will not be wasted!
Ski school course/lesson is always paid before the first lesson. In addition to cash, the most common bank and credit cards are accepted as means of payment. If you need equipment rental, we will direct you to the rental company after registration. If you have reserved an equipment package in connection with the ski school, the ski instructors will assist you with the appropriate equipment.
Once you have registered for the course/class and received any rental equipment, go outside to the meeting point. All courses/classes start at the meeting point in front of the slopes.
At the customer service desk, we are happy to tell you about all the ski school’s products and good cross-country skiing opportunities in the surrounding areas.
PAYMENT METHODS
Cash and the most common bank and credit cards.
Note! Since the ski school is managed by a different company than the ski center, Serena’s gift cards and other payment methods accepted at the rental company, such as e.g. sports vouchers/cards/mobile payments, cannot be used as payment instruments.
WEATHER?
Serena Ski School has no frost, wind, rain or other weather restrictions. When it is raining or very cold, we will take short breaks in the Ice Café if necessary. Dress warmly according to the weather. Layers and mittens and a change of gloves work well. Wool socks do not fit in boots.
WHAT TO DO WHEN OTHERS ARE AT SKI SCHOOL?
Go skiing or snowboarding on the slopes yourself, or even go to the water park! During children’s ski schools, we hope that parents are hidden from the children’s eyes. In addition to the slopes, Serena has the excellent cross-country ski tracks of the cities of Espoo and Vantaa towards Petikko and Keimola. From the Ice Café, you can see the slopes well from behind the steaming cup of cocoa 🙂
CAN I CONTINUE SKIING AFTER A COURSE / PRIVATE LESSON?
After a course or private lesson, it is possible to continue skiing for a reasonable price of €17 / person + Axess smart card. This lift ticket is valid for all slopes and is valid for the rest of the day. There are no additional costs for any extended equipment rental.
